We Welcome Mrs. McCrory!
I am so pleased to have Mrs. Shelley McCrory, a student teacher from Delta State University, in our class! Mrs. McCrory, a native o
f Carrollton, is married to Mr. Brook McCrory and they have two sons: Mel (born 2004) and Joseph (born 2008).
Mrs. McCrory enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. She brings a wealth of knowledge and I know that my students will continue to love her in the coming months.
Mrs. Johnson's Journal
Yeah!!! It's fall and we are so charged up!!! When the weather changes, we get in second gear. The year is passing so quickly and everyone is working hard. School is much more difficult than ever before, and we are all learning how to learn. At this time we are working on multiplication which will be needed for the entire year. So, if your child does not know their facts, please work on it. They love science because we can get dirty and learn at the same time. Kids love "hands on" activities and I do, too. My room is full of rocks, bugs, and dirt. (Some are not by my intent!) I love seeing them get excited about school. Behavior is getting better. They know that we always plan an adventure in the fall and in the spring. Since behavior will affect what we do, they are motivated to be the best they can be. Thank you, parents, for all the hard work with your children. It shows up here at school. I can always tell when there is support at home and this year has a lot of classroom to home interaction....thank you, thank you!!
You will be hearing from us soon about our Thanksgiving Feast. Get ready, we eat far tooo much but have great fun. We will send home a letter to let you have plenty of notice.
